Government as main stakeholder

When Keynes predicted a comprehensive socialisation of investment, he was right.
In the whole world, governments injected 432 billion dollars of capital into their banks.
to name for example America , The United Kingdom , India and Germany.
The infusion of public monet in private banks came maybe as a suprise but acctualy it ist'n that awkward: the damage caused when banks break is not only limited to the banks alone. So governments can not afford not taking part in the finacial system.
But although the American banks already repaid the capital to the government , the government still remains an important stakeholder of the banks.
